Dr. R Gopalan received his Ph.D degree from the University of Madras in 1970. He taught B.Sc., M.Sc., and M.Phil. students at Madras Christian College, Chennai for 34 years and guided several doctoral candidates. His publications include 50 research articles in international journals, 40 articles on popular science and education and 30 books. He is at present a freelance writer and teacher.

P K Madhavan is founder of Maven Learning. He moonlights teaching courses on publishing, retailing, customer service and business communication.
